Web Design by Cookie's (WDBCSM) experienced project management and technical staff work with our clients to develop long lasting one-on-one relationships.
The two principal staff members at WBDCSM would be responsible for all HTML coding, graphic design, copy editing, script installation, and other aspects of the your web site. Each member of our team has extensive experience developing web sites and a variety of different experiences with computer programming, graphic design, and database development.
Matthew J. Cook
Matthew J. Cook is the founder and president, principal graphic designer, copy editor, principal HTML writer, and project manager for Web Design by Cookie. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Fairfield University in 1997. Matt has been designing web sites on the Internet since 1996 and is an active member of the International Webmasters Association and the HTML Writer’s Guild.
Formerly a web design consultant with Age Vision, LLC in New Jersey, Matt founded the WDBCSM on the principle of an affordable, high quality personalized design service. Drawing upon many years in the academic and non-profit sectors, many of the sites that Matt has designed and authored have been in the academic and non-profit organization arenas. The site that he is most famous for producing, designing, and serving as the webmaster is the Community Psychology Network. The Community Psychology Network is a comprehensive, award winning, searchable Internet guide to the field of community psychology, prevention, intervention, and action research. Matt is also webmaster of the Department of Community Medicine & Health Care’s web server and chair of its web site committee. In later years WDBCSM has expanded into the for-profit markets.
Matt has experience working with Microsoft Office ’97 Suite (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker, Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Flash, Java, JavaScript, mySQL, hypertext markup language (HTML), JScript, ColdFusion markup language (CFM), and Perl. He has a working knowledge of Macintosh, PC, Unix and DOS operating systems. Matt has designed web sites for a variety of web server configurations including Apache, ColdFusion, Microsoft Internet Information Server, Microsoft Personal Web Server, and the Netscape brand servers.
Rebecca Lamb
Rebecca Lamb received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Byant College in 1998. Rebecca currently works full-time as a Systems Developer at Linc Systems Corporation, a Condor Technology Solutions Company. Linc Systems is an international firm specializing in "best of breed" distributed computing, client/server and relational database systems integration, education, application development, and consulting service. Currently, Rebecca is working on a project at GE Capitol in Stamford, CT.
Rebecca brings a great deal of skills to WDBC including experience with Office ‘97,
HTML, COBOL, Lotus 123, Visual Basic, C++, Microsoft Access, SQA, Centura SQLWindows,
Java, Business Objects, and Windows 95/98/NT/XP.
