Web designers typically use a combination of the following 216 colors when designing web sites because this set of colors are supported commonly by both major web browsers, Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer. If different colors are choosen for a web site besides the 216 listed, each web browser will interpretate the other colors differently and viewers will see something different in their browser than was origianally intended.

The background color in each cell is produced by the color code shown. What you see is your computer's interpretation of that color code. Black, grays and white are shown in bold red. Primary colors and complements are in BOLD ITALIC.

If you are choosing colors for your site, choose a coordinated mix of colors. You should consider a background color, text color (usually black, 000000), hyperlink color, and visited link color. If you have a preference on what colors are used for what objects, please also specify your preferences in the email, otherwise WDBC will use the colors that you choose creatively to design the site.
